Jackie Salazar McCallion is a designer based in Los Angeles. She received her B.A. in Urban & Environmental Policy from Occidental College and her M. Arch 1 from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
Her varied interests in art, architecture, writing, and research have led her to an interdisciplinary career in architecture and interiors, design strategy, and production design. She has served as a designer on residential, educational, and hospitality architecture projects and large scale art installations, and has practiced interior and furniture design for a variety of commercial and residential clients. She has also designed branded conferences and events in cooperation with production companies, and operated as a set dresser and assistant to the Art Department on film sets. Additionally, she has served as a writer, graphic designer, researcher, and strategist to produce a wide range of creative assets for architecture firms, agencies, restaurants, wellness providers, and nonprofits.
Jackie is a world traveler, a lover of languages, and a global citizen. She is fluent in both Spanish and English, and has lived in Mexico, Puerto Rico, the UK, Southern California, and New England throughout her life. In her free time, Jackie enjoys reading, printmaking, yoga, cooking, and going on walking adventures with her little mutts Paco and Dancer.
